Therapeutic relationship

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of how I work. A trusting and genuine connection enables you to talk freely about your experiences, whether past or present, and to explore the patterns that might be holding you back. Together, we can make sense of your feelings, behaviours, and relationships, and begin to see how your past has shaped your present. From this awareness comes the possibility of change: new ways of relating to yourself, to others, and to life.

My approach

My approach to therapy is grounded in openness, curiosity, and deep respect. I see each person’s story as unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you explore, heal, and grow. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel fully accepted and truly yourself.

As a BACP registered psychotherapist, I draw on Attachment theory, Gestalt, Psychodynamic approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model. Instead, I offer a flexible, integrative approach that is designed around you, your goals, and your personal journey. Whether you are navigating a period of transition, healing from trauma, or simply seeking more clarity and meaning, your growth and well-being are always at the centre of my practice

My areas of special interest include motherhood, trauma, gender, culture, and sexuality. These themes often bring up complex emotions and challenging questions, and I welcome the opportunity to explore them with sensitivity and openness.
